Grand County Model Railroad Club Our mission is to provide Grand County citizens, tourists, second home owners and others with significant opportunities to learn about the history of railroading in our part of Colorado. The club will provide activities for learning about the hobby of model railroading. By building the Moffat Road Railroad Museum, we want to provide a new location, visitor destination and stopping place in Granby, where tourists attractions are very limited. About the Grand County Model Railroad Club The club started in November of 2006 and is a Colorado 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. It was started with six members and continues to grow in leaps and bounds. The club's current project is getting the Moffat Road Railroad Museum built. GC Model Railroad Club Membership Membership dues go to the overall project of building the Moffat Road Railroad Museum that will be housing the 4,000 square foot HO scale model of the Denver Northwestern and Pacific Railroad otherwise known as the "Moffat Line." As a club member, you will receive a membership card and our monthly newsletter. To join the club, please Download the Club Membership Form and mail it. Club dues can be paid online using the paypal button below or can be mailed with your membership form. Pay for your Club Membership Membership dues are $50 per year and go towards the GCMRC Moffat Road Railroad Museum Building Fund. The Grand County Model Railroad Club is a Colorado 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law. All donors will receive a donation receipt for tax records. Model Railroad Christmas Display in Granby Every year, the Grand County Model Railroad Club creates a model railroad display for the Christmas holiday season, which is open to public viewing in Granby in December.
