Behind the "Moffat Road" Model Railroad
The Grand County Model Railroad Club has created a working display of the "Moffat Road" Railroad - the Denver & Northwestern Pacific R.R. from Denver, Colorado to Craig, Colorado circa: 1905 thru 1960’s. Once the museum is built, it's entire second floor will house the "Moffat Road" Model Railroad. The model of the "Moffat Line" will be around 4,000 square feet when on display at the museum. If you are interested in helping work on the model, visit the Grand County Model Railroad Club page for more information about the club, how to join, newsletters, and more.
Sponsor the "Moffat Road" Model Railroad
We are offering a fun way to raise money by having sponsorship opportunities on various features of the model railroad depicting the "Moffat Road" which will be displayed on the second floor of the museum. From train cars and tunnels, to lakes and bridges, to depots and town buildings, there are various different ways to advertise as a sponsor. See our Model Railroad Sponsor Choices for details.
Annual Model Railroad Christmas Display
The Grand County Model Railroad Club works on the annual model railroad Christmas display at Granby's Town Hall. The display typically opens to the public around mid-November through December. See our Christmas Model Railroad Display page for the current schedule and for a photo gallery of some of the scenes on the model railroad.
Model Railroad Display from Columbine Lake
The Grand County Model Railroad Club loves model railroads, so we are showing off a nice model railroad display from Columbine Lake. The Club did not work on this model railroad, but wanted to show some photos from the display. See our Columbine Lake Model Railroad Display page for a photo gallery of some of the scenes on the model railroad.
