The Interpretive Center is Growing!
The Moffat Road Railroad Museum now has two pieces of railroad equipment located at the Railroad Interpretive Park next to the Kaibab Park ball fields in Granby, Colorado, with a third piece scheduled for delivery. The two pieces ready for restoration include a 1923 all wood, red UP caboose, and a 1915 era railroad hand-cart shed from Hot Sulphur Springs. The third piece is a 1905 Passenger Car awaiting transportation from Rhode Island, schedule for delivery later in the month. First Development Project at Museum Site
As the first development at the museum site, electrical lines have been run on the property. Although a lot of work was done by Dave Naples and the Model Railroad Club, it still cost around $5,300 to run the electrical lines. Model Railroad Shows

Progress Report
Initial floor plans and 3D renderings have been started for the museum building, and can be viewed on the Museum Building Progress page, along with other progress information and photos. We are still in the fundraising process for the Moffat Road Railroad Museum Building Fund, so Donate Today.

Annual Model Railroad Christmas Display
The Grand County Model Railroad Club works on the annual model railroad Christmas display at Granby's Town Hall. See our Christmas Display page for the schedule and for a photo gallery of some of the scenes on the model railroad.

Sponsor the "Moffat Road" Model Railroad
We are offering a fun way to raise money by having sponsorship opportunities on various features of the model railroad depicting the "Moffat Road" which will be displayed on the second floor of the museum. Grand County Model Railroad Club & Newsletters
Once funding is in place for construction, the Moffat Road Railroad Museum will be built and operated by the Grand County Model Railroad Club, a 501(c)(3) Colorado not-for-profit corporation. You can become a member of the Grand County Model Railroad Club and help the Club accomplish different goals.
